Predictions Methodology
France's second division has 20 teams that play in a 38 game season. Three teams in Ligue 2 are slated for promotion. The top-2 go to Ligue 1 automatically and 3rd through 6th play a tournament for the last spot. Teams that finish 19th or 20th are relegated to the National division which is France's third division. The team that finishes 18th plays a team from the National division to find out who gets to play in Ligue 2 the following year.
