2019-2020 College Football Bowl Projections

College Football Bowl ProjectionsHere we list our most updated projections for the 2019-2020 NCAA College Football bowl games. Like last year, there are a total of 40 bowl game contests with FBS teams and one (the Celebration Bowl) that has tie ins to FCS teams. Schools must have a record of 6-6 or better to be eligible for a bowl game. If there are not enough teams that are eligible to qualify, then those with a record of 5-7 will be eligible based on which teams have the highest APR. For the first time this year, Pac-12 teams with a record worse than 6-6 will not be eligible for a bowl based on a conference rule.

Our bowl projections are forward looking on the season. This means that current record is only one variable in determining where we think the teams will be placed. For a full list of bowl affiliations, 2019-2020 College Football Bowl Tie-Ins For Each Conference is a great reference point. For all of our rankings on each of these teams, go to NCAA FBS Ratings and go to NCAA Football Game Projections for our predictions for each game.

Teams in BOLD have accepted their bowl bid.
Teams with an * are fill-in bids as some conferences do not have enough bowl eligible teams to fill their allotted slots.
